Daniel M. Capponi, DDS
For over 10 years, Dr. Capponi has served the Napa community with excellence in general, cosmetic, pediatric, and orthodontic dentistry. Dr. Capponi believes everyone deserves access to quality dental care and takes pride in helping patients achieve optimal oral health. At our practice, Dr. Capponi and our team provide personalized care, building long-lasting relationships with each patient.
Dr. Capponi earned his Bachelor of Science from St. Mary’s College of California before attending the University of the Pacific, where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He continues his education with advanced courses in orthodontics and dental implants. Additionally, Dr. Capponi is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Napa Solano Dental Society.
Originally from St. Helena, CA, Dr. Capponi has lived in Napa with his wife, Marisa, since 2002. They have two children, a son and a daughter. Outside of work, Dr. Capponi enjoys spending time with his family, skiing on snow and water, traveling, playing and watching sports, and reading.
Shon Tyler, DDS
A Sacramento native, Dr. Shon Tyler began his academic path at Arizona State University, earning a degree in film and media studies. However, he soon discovered his passion for dentistry. He completed his prerequisite courses at Portland State University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in 2023. Though he enjoyed his experience on the East Coast, Dr. Tyler felt a strong connection to return to Northern California.
To advance his skills, Dr. Tyler completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. This program provided exposure to a range of specialty cases and deepened his enthusiasm for comprehensive dental care.
In his free time, Dr. Tyler loves cooking, golfing, exploring new cycling trails, and following sports.
